1. Status of the app
Dockie is in development (version 0.3.0) and is not yet available to download. These Terms will be updated before the first public release.
2. Licence
When the App is released, I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it on your own Windows PCs. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App, except where the law allows it. The App's artwork, code and name remain my property or that of their licensors.
3. Your files
The App works on files that you give it, on your PC. You are responsible for keeping your own backups. File actions change or create files; check the result before deleting an original.
4. Third-party software
Video and audio conversion relies on FFmpeg, which is separate software that you install yourself under its own licence. The weather widget relies on a third-party weather service. I am not responsible for software or services that I do not provide.
5. Price
The App is not on sale. Any price mentioned on this website before release is a plan, not an offer, and may change. The terms of a purchase will be shown before you pay.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the App to break the law or to tamper with the App. Only work on files and information that you are entitled to use.
7. Privacy
How information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential damages or loss of data arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Changes and termination
I may update the App or these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
