PANAM

Terms of Service

Last updated 5 October 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Android app “PANAM” (the “App”), developed and published by Syed Naazim Hussain (“I”, “me”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the App.

1. Licence

I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your Android devices to manage your own finances. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App, except where the law allows it. The App's artwork, code and name remain my property or that of their licensors.

2. Not financial advice

The App is a record-keeping tool. It is not a bank, a payment service or a financial adviser, and it does not move money: marking a card as paid or logging a transfer only records it. Its insights, alerts, summaries and reports are general information worked out by fixed rules from what you have entered. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Decisions about your money are yours, and you should consult a qualified professional where you need advice.

3. Accuracy of figures and imports

Totals, balances, net worth and budgets are only as accurate as the entries behind them. Amounts in other currencies are converted with the exchange rates you type in. Reading a bank export, a PDF statement, a receipt, a screenshot or a shared alert involves guesswork and can be wrong; the App shows what it read before saving it so that you can check. Please verify figures against your bank and card statements before relying on them.

4. Reminders

Reminders and alerts depend on your phone's notification, alarm and battery settings, and may arrive late or not at all. You remain responsible for paying your bills and cancelling subscriptions and free trials on time. I am not liable for late fees, interest, charges or renewals that result from a missed or late reminder.

5. Your data and backups

Your data is stored only on your device. There is no cloud copy and I cannot recover it if your phone is lost, reset or replaced, or if the App is uninstalled. Keeping backups is your responsibility. A backup file is not encrypted, restoring one replaces everything currently in the App, and you are responsible for where you keep backup files and who can reach them.

6. Third-party names and logos

The App includes logos and names of banks and subscription services so that you can recognise your own accounts, cards and subscriptions. These are trademarks of their respective owners. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the App to break the law or to tamper with the App. Only import files and information that you are entitled to use.

8. Privacy

How information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, financial loss, or loss of data arising from your use of the App or your reliance on its figures. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes and termination

I may update the App or these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
