1. Licence
I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your Android devices for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App, except where the law allows it. The App's artwork, music, voice callouts, code and name remain my property or that of their licensors.
2. Ads and purchases
The App is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob. You can optionally buy “Remove Ads” through Google Play, which turns off the ads between games. The videos you choose to watch for Keep Playing and Chai Break remain available. Payments, refunds and purchase restoration are handled by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service. Purchases are tied to your Google account.
3. Virtual items
Marigolds, skins, streaks, scores and other in-game items have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be rebalanced as the game is updated.
4. Leaderboards
Leaderboards are provided through Google Play Games and are optional. Scores you submit are shown to other players with your Play Games name and picture. Leaderboards are for fair play: I may remove scores that appear to come from cheating or a modified copy of the App, and leaderboards may be reset or changed as the game is updated.
5. Saved progress
Your progress is saved on your device. Android may back it up to your Google account if backup is turned on. I do not guarantee that saved progress will never be lost, for example when you uninstall the App, clear its data or change phones.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the App to break the law, tamper with the App, its ads or its leaderboards, or interfere with Google Play services.
7. Privacy
How information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Changes and termination
I may update the App or these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
